This is a selection of my directorial work from my new Leicester based agency, Proof. Some of the featured pieces were for clients such as BP, Awake, Leicester City Council, Prescient Power and the Youth Sport Trust.

This is selection of work I made in 2010, a lot of it is very old but I still feel it has a place on my website.

Films include: Frank & Lucille, Harder/Blacker, Your Life Co., Three Zero Five, Per Purum Tonantes and Doritnooos.

Caught out by the benefit system, Catrina and her family of 5 are currently living on just £18 a week – a sum which is supposed to buy food for her 3 children, books for school and nappies for her youngest child, Jamie.

She is currently supported by Leicester Charity Link, who bought her children’s school uniform and consequently produced this film to help raise further funds to support both her family and others in her position.

This film was debuted on 05/10/12 at The Phoenix Partners fundraising event, which raised over £1,800 for the cause.

Shot on a Sony EX1 + Shoot 35 Lens adaptor with a selection of Nikkor primes. Due to the severity of the Catrina’s situation it would have been unfair to use her house to power my lighting setup, so the whole thing was shot with natural light.
